Nearly every resident you speak with qualifies for a community solar subscription opportunity–no worrying about roof access, credit checks, or whether they’re a homeowner or renter.

W-2 Position: Guaranteed base wage ($25/hr)
Uncapped commissions: $1,600-$2,500 per week OTE

What you could earn:
12 sales a week plus base wage = $86,000 a year or $1,650 a week
15 sales a week plus base wage = $98,000 a year or $1,875 a week
20+ sales a week plus base wage = $120,000+ a year or $2,250+ a week
Knock doors and speak directly with residents
Explain the benefits of local community solar projects
Enroll qualified households in guaranteed-savings programs
Close deals and get PAID!

Requirements
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to break down complex technical concepts into relatable terms
A self-starter with a high energy level and a drive to achieve targets
A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team environment
Must be 18+, legally authorized to work in the U.S., with a valid driver’s license
MUST have access to a reliable personal vehicle

Position Title: Community Solar Sales Representative
Reporting Structure: Community Solar Branch Manager
Rate of Pay: $25/hr + Uncapped Commission
Commission: $75 per sale
Job Classification: W-2, non-exempt
Schedule/hours: 1pm-7pm / M-F
Location: Chicago IL
Attendance: 100% attendance record is required for all roles within Pathway
Benefits: Pathway Solar offers all full-time employees who remain with our team for more than three months full health care, dental, and vision benefits. Any job-related travel, lodging, and other expenses are paid for by Pathway.
*Pathway Solar operates in full compliance with Illinois state labor laws and regulations. All commission-based compensation paid to employees by Pathway are considered wages under the Illinois Wage Payment Law (WPL).
