Position Summary: We are seeking a creative, data-driven SEO & Social Media Specialist with experience in eCommerce and a passion for using AI tools to drive performance. This hybrid role is responsible for optimizing website content for search engines and managing our social media strategy to grow brand awareness, increase web traffic, and support lead generation. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of SEO best practices, social media trends, content creation, and digital analytics. Key Responsibilities: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – ~45% Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content strategy. Collaborate with web and product teams to improve site structure, URL strategies, and metadata across the eCommerce catalog. Optimize website copy, meta descriptions, title tags, and internal linking structure. Manage and update the SEO performance dashboard using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush (or equivalent). Collaborate with content writers and web developers to implement on-page and technical SEO improvements. Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions, and adjust strategy as needed to improve KPIs. Identify and resolve site crawl issues, broken links, and other technical SEO challenges. Track and report on backlinks, domain authority, and overall search visibility. Social Media Management – ~45% Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok). Develop and maintain a social media calendar aligned with campaigns and company goals. Engage with followers, respond to messages and comments, and manage community interactions. Analyze post and campaign performance metrics to optimize strategy. Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visual and written content. Stay informed of industry trends and platform updates; bring innovative ideas to grow engagement and followers. Support social ad campaigns in collaboration with paid media or agency partners. AI Integration – ~10% Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, Canva Magic Write, Grammarly) to assist with content ideation, A/B testing, and productivity tasks. Experiment with prompt design and workflow automation to speed up SEO reporting, content creation, or social captioning. Stay up to date with emerging AI tools relevant to digital marketing, and propose integrations where applicable. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2–4 years of hands-on experience with SEO and social media management. Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs). Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout). Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) preferred. Graphic design skills or familiarity with Canva/Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
