Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Reno, Nevada Join an established team of specialists providing comprehensive cancer care across Northern Nevada. Outpatient Practice Model: Primarily clinic-based role with no inpatient duties and a flexible 3.5 clinical / 1.5 academic days structure Comprehensive Support Team: Work alongside NPs, dedicated RNs, MAs, nurse navigators, social workers, and a research staff Teaching and Research Opportunities: Involvement with internal medicine residents, medical students, and the future oncology fellowship program Predictable Call Schedule: Routine call every 6-7 weeks, moving to every 9-10 weeks as the team grows, with APPs managing routine calls Generous Compensation Package: Guaranteed base salary with RVU incentives yielding up to $870K, plus $50K sign-on bonus for out of state candidates, 9 weeks annual leave, $5K CME, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k match, malpractice tail, loan repayment) Qualifications Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Medical Oncology/Hematology Completion of an ACGME-accredited Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship BLS and ACLS certifications are required Open to new graduates and experienced physicians, with an interest in teaching and clinical trials preferred Live and Work in Reno, Nevada Reno offers the best of both worlds - a growing city with a laid back vibe and easy access to Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
