Job Title: Estimator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $110K + Benefits

We are a well-established concrete contracting company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across the water and wastewater treatment sector. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and pricing upcoming projects.

As our Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for concrete works, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure costings are both commercially viable and technically sound.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare material, labour, and equipment schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure tenders meet client requirements and company objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the concrete construction industry.
• Knowledge and experience of water and wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
• Excellent numerical skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.
